Thanksgiving in the midst of Covid

How to Make Thanksgiving Special in a Year Where it has Been Canceled All Over the Country?
Make it feel like Thanksgiving in your home. Pull out some pumpkins, spiced candles, and leaf garland. You don't have to spend a fortune, but give your space a thanksgiving vibe.
Make your favorite thanksgiving foods. Buy your turkey early if you can, while they are still available. Create a new Covid Cocktail to make it interesting.
Plan a Zoom Visit / Facetime with family or friends at a specific time or during the main meal time. You can even plan activities and crafts for the kids and grown ups alike. Mail out zoom crafts ahead of time for your zoom dinner.
And most importantly... BE THANKFUL! Count your blessings this year. Did you have toilet paper? Did you have food? Did you survive Covid? Maybe you didn't even catch it. Did you find love? Did you adopt a displaced person into your home, who became family? Look for the big and little things that made this year so unique and don't dwell on the negative. The world is too negative. Be the light that shines in this world of chaos and darkness. And make this thanksgiving the best one yet!
