Roth Design Co is a full-service interior design company, with qualified interior designers and stylists to make your dream space a reality.  Starting in 2015, Dawn's husband, kids and family encouraged her to go after her dream of making the world a more beautiful place, one room at a time.  By starting Roth Design Co, it enabled her to take time with her clients and her family, removing her from the corporate roller coaster and giving her the freedom of a balanced work and family life.  Using each other's strengths and talents, our designers bring their clients the spaces they dream of.  From luxury residential spaces to modern commercial ones, let us create that dream space for you.

Dawn Rothenbacher

PRINCIPLE INTERIOR DESIGNER & CEO

After majoring in mass communications and minoring in PR in university, Dawn started her career as an event coordinator and professional organizer in San Antonio and Austin, Tx, and was a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers.  She worked for the Container Store as a space planner and closet designer for years designing spaces and doing local TV spots on how to stay organized. 

"One common thread that all clients requested was not only to organize their space, but they wanted an interior designer to wow them too, which at the time, I didn't feel qualified to do."

So, Dawn went back to school, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Interior Design.  Graduating with honors and recieving the award for BEST PORTFOLIO DESIGN, Dawn went straight back to work opening up her first design studio.  Now as a member of ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) Dawn is held to the highest standards, with continuing education requirements and ethical standards you may not find in every designer.  Dawn was just awarded the ASID 2021 Excellence in Design Award, receiving first place in the singular space category.  Roth Design Co.'s mission is to transform interior design dreams into reality.

When designing, Dawn pulls from her travels around the world and her love of organizing.  Born in Toronto, Canada, Dawn now lives in Charlotte, NC with her husband, three kids, and their Bichon Frise, Sophie.  They enjoy traveling, cruising, and downhill skiing and of course hosting gatherings with friends and family.
